Quality Control |
|
Quality Control is an important requirement under EU-Standard EN 15038, which I carry out as follows:
- If possible, direct communication with the customer (the company for whom the translation is intended)
- Working on the tandem principle:
- Translation of English texts by myself + quality control by a native English speaker
- Translation of German texts by a native English speaker + quality control by myself
- Consistent technical terminology making use of CAT-tools (Wordfast, Trados, MemoQ)
